I recently had the opportunity to shoot ten brief documentary pieces on cultural and social development projects in Pakistan. I took some pictures during the month I spent there that somehow capture  a few visually impressive scenes from everyday life in Karachi and Lahore.

"Une santé de fer" (la mediana edad), my third book translated into French, has just been published in Paris by the fantastic team at Editions Métailié, a publishing house that can only be described as a real treat. I was happy to know that, at the very week of its publishing, one bookshop selected it as "the book of the month". Thanks so much!

I recently had the opportunity to open a feature-lenght documentary in local cinemas. The film explores the life, ideas and legacy of one of most prolific and creative Lattin American scientists from the XXth century. Clemente Estable, a towering figure that, after being trained as a school teacher, taught himself neuroscience and managed to create an abitious and outstanding research center that very quckly became a reference for the whole continent.

A new season of Zoombido, our series devoted to the creative process of composers, has departed from Brazil after 10 years and started an international trail. Our first season out of Brazil will be centered in Uruguayan composers. As always, the actual shooting of the series is a true joy, and the privilege of being surrounded by such insiping artists is barely captured in camera.

The series "Creadores", a survey of artists from Uruguay, has been released on the web. The series was produced by GEN Centro de Artes y Ciencias with the support of AGADU, and directed by me. The interviews were recorded using an Interrotrón, a system popularized by Errol Morris that allows the gaze of the person being interviewed  to be perfectly aligned with the camera, allowing the capture of a very intimate conversation in which the audience feels that the subject talks directly to them.

I was recently invited to give a conference in C3, Centro de Ciencias de la Complejidad, in México City. The lecture intended to explore the Natural History of Art and Literature from a developmental and cognitive point of view.

I had the honor to be invited to give five talks in the south of France, in the cities of Toulouse, Pau and Sarrant. I had the chance to travel around in the lovely rural surroundings of those cities, and to take some more pictures.

I signed copies of "Ici et maintenant", the French translation of my novel "Aquí y ahora", in the stand of Editións Métailié in the Salón du Livre, in Paris. Some of the reviews and interviews published about the book can be found here.

I had the pleasure of shooting an audiovisual production in Angola for 12 days. It was my third time in the country, a place that has always fascinated me. I also had the opportunity to take a few pictures there.
